The functionality and grading requirements for external and internal sounders under the new PD6662:2010 are now defined within the European product standard EN50131-4:2009. This EN standard introduces a number of fundamental changes, which has resulted in the need for our sirens to be upgraded to ensure future compliance.
Elmdene has been working very hard over the last couple of years to ensure the products comply with the new standards. The table below outlines the new grades.
