Elmdene International Limited have successfully converted our manufacturing to RoHS compliant processes and have worked with our Supplier partners to achieve a fully compliant product. We can therefore confirm that all products manufactured after the 1st of July 2006 are manufactured in conformance with the RoHs Directive.
Our major Suppliers have all confirmed that they are not using Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in any of the products or parts that they Supply to Elmdene International Limited.
Elmdene International Limited do not use any SVHC's in the UK Manufacturing operations and therefore to the best of our knowledge Elmdene International Limited do not have any products that contain Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).
As a producer of industrial batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we Elmdene International Limited produce Ni - Cd and Ni - MH button cell batteries. We are obliged to collect, free of charge and within a reasonable time, waste industrial batteries supplied to an end user, for treatment and recycling. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new industrial batteries on the market.
If any of our customers require us to take back Industrial batteries, they should contact us at sales@elmdene.co.uk. We will agree the necessary arrangements for the return, proper treatment, and recycling of the waste industrial batteries.
