We're proud to announce that our Director of Business Development, Jon East, has been named Commercial Person of the Year at the Fire & Security Matters (FSM) Awards 2026.
The award recognises an individual who has delivered outstanding commercial performance and customer service over the past 12 months.It is a fitting tribute to Jon's dedication, his commercial insight, and the relationships he has built across the fire and security industry. Everyone at Elmdene is delighted to see his hard work recognised on a national stage.
While the award celebrates Jon, it also reflects the effort of the entire Elmdene team. Commercial success is built on the people behind it, from product development and engineering through to customer service and support, and this recognition belongs to everyone who plays a part in delivering for our customers every day. Jon would be the first to say this is a shared achievement.
The recognition capped a strong evening for Elmdene, who were also shortlisted in the Customer Service Award category, reflecting the team's ongoing commitment to supporting customers at every stage, from specification through to aftercare.
The winners were revealed at a black-tie gala dinner on 2 July 2026 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, with more than 900 guests from across the fire and security sectors in attendance.
